🔌 Hardware Installation

Wiring Connections

Signal Wires:

  • Connect ESC S1-S4 → Flight Controller M1-M4

  • ✔️ Check pin alignment

  • Use 8-pin cable or solder directly

Power Wires:

  • ESC VBAT → FC VBAT

  • ❌ Never connect to 5V port!

  • Current Sensor → FC current port

  • Telemetry (TX) → FC UART-RX

Mounting Tips

  • Install heat sinks properly

  • Keep 3cm+ away from motors

  • Fits 20×20mm & 30×30mm mounts

⚙️ Software Setup

AM32 Configurator

  1. Connect FC to PC via USB

  2. Power ESCs with battery

  3. Open AM32 Configurator (Chrome/Edge)

  4. Select COM port → Connect → Read

Recommended Settings:

Setting Value Why?
Protocol DShot300 Most stable
PWM Enabled Smoother throttle
Timing 22.5° More power
Protection ON Safety first
Startup Sinusoidal Smoother start

💡 Tap "Save" (not "Save Config")!

🛠️ Troubleshooting

Problem Fix
Motor won't start Verify signal wiring; calibrate throttle range; check motor direction.
Motor jitter/oscillation Disable bidirectional DShot; validate KV/pole settings; reduce PWM frequency.
ESC gets hot Check load (sustained current > rated); improve cooling or lower throttle curve.
Telemetry data loss Confirm TX/RX wiring; enable "ESC Sensor" in Betaflight.

⚠️ Safety First!

  • Always remove props when testing!
  • Set voltage cutoff (3.3V/cell)  to prevent battery damage.
  • Do pre-flight checks
